Day 01: Transfer to Kibale National Park

You will be picked by peak cruise safaris staff from your hotel/ lodge and embark on a safari to kibale National Park.

After breakfast, we will drive to Kibale Forest National Park for overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House. This journey will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park with chances of spotting some wild game as we drive through this savannah dominated National Park. You will have a chance to cross the equator and crossing several rivers that originate from Mountain Rwenzori. Enjoy a lunch break in Fort Portal town before checking in at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House for overnight.

Day 02: Chimpanzee Tracking.

This morning after breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters to join other trackers for a briefing and after you will be taken for chimpanzee tracking, through Kibale Forest National Park. During this walk, you will have chances of seeing many of the 13 primate species native to Kibale Forest National Park. After lunch, you will drive to Bigodi for a swamp walk. This wetland belongs to community neighboring the park.

Day 03: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

This morning you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. You will arrive in time for Lunch at the lodge and game drive in the plains of Kasenyi in search for savannah wildlife that may include herds of buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and if lucky, some wild cats such as lions and leopard.

Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise on kazinga channel

Early morning breakfast and go for the game drive, you will be able to see many animals including the girrafes, elephants, warthogs, kobs , the famous cats, the lions if you are lucky, at that time of the morning they are from hunting.

Jetty for an afternoon boat cruise on kazinga channel that departs at 3pm. The launch exposes you to counts of hippos, crocodiles, birds and a range of wild game quenching their thirst on the channel side. You will retire from the 2hour boat ride to have an evening game drive as you make way to the lodge for overnight stay.

Drive time: 4-5 hours.

Day 05: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park and then Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in South Western Uganda. This journey takes you through the green rolling hills of Uganda with banana and tea plantations and good scenic views. Lunch will be served at a selected restaurant and you will arrive in Bwindi in the evening.

Lodge: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tervan Lodge.

Drive time: 6-7 hours.

Day 06: Gorilla Tracking Day.

Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon boat cruise and game drive

Early morning breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park where you arrive in the afternoon for a boat trip and an evening game drive. You will enjoy the famous black and white creatures that beautifully paint the whole park black and white. The zebras, other animals will include the waterbucks, warthogs, kobs and different species of birds. You will then retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

Have an early morning breakfast, do a game drive as you head out of the park for Kampala/Entebbe.
